Weight Loss
GLP-1 receptor agonist medications, Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), represent what Dr. Falcone calls a genuine revolution in weight management, working directly on the hunger hormones that drive appetite rather than relying on willpower alone. As a liposuction specialist since 2006 who has treated thousands of patients on both the surgical and non-surgical sides of body contouring, Dr. Falcone offers medical weight loss as part of a comprehensive approach, sometimes as a stand-alone treatment, sometimes alongside liposuction or body contouring goals.

How GLP-1 Medications Work
Semaglutide and Tirzepatide mimic hormones your gut naturally produces to signal fullness, slow digestion, and regulate blood sugar. The result is reduced appetite and better portion control without a constant fight against hunger. Combining treatment with 150 minutes of exercise a week, even just 30 minutes of walking, five days a week, improves results further.
What to Expect
Treatment is a once-weekly injection, available to patients who can attend monthly in-office appointments at either the Bala Cynwyd or Maple Shade location for evaluation and dose management. The Falcone Center cannot provide Semaglutide or Tirzepatide to patients outside PA/NJ without an in-office evaluation.
A Note on Semaglutide Microdosing
Microdosing, using smaller-than-standard Semaglutide doses, is an emerging strategy some patients ask about, but it currently lacks official medical backing and is not an FDA-recognized protocol. Dr. Falcone discusses this directly and honestly with interested patients rather than promoting it as a proven approach; any decision to explore it is made collaboratively and under close supervision.
Other Weight Loss Support
For patients wanting a non-prescription or shorter-term option, The Falcone Center also offers Phentermine, an appetite suppressant for shorter-term use, and Isagenix, a structured nutrition-based program. Dr. Falcone will help determine which approach, or combination, fits your health profile and goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
Both are GLP-1-based medications that reduce appetite and slow digestion; Tirzepatide also targets a second hormone receptor (GIP), which some patients find leads to greater results. Dr. Falcone will help determine which is the better fit at consultation.
Is Semaglutide microdosing safe?
Microdosing lacks official medical backing and is considered off-label and unproven. Dr. Falcone discusses this honestly with patients rather than presenting it as a validated protocol, and only considers it under close physician supervision.
Do I need to come into the office for treatment?
Yes. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are provided only to patients who can attend in-office evaluation and monthly follow-up appointments at the Bala Cynwyd or Maple Shade location.
Can I combine medical weight loss with liposuction?
Yes. Many patients use medical weight loss to reach a stable goal weight before liposuction, or afterward to help maintain results. Dr. Falcone will discuss sequencing based on your goals. See Liposuction →
